On December 7, 2016, over 100 band and chorus members from Lyme-Old Lyme School High School will join schools from around the country to perform on the deck of the USS Missouri in commemoration the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Lyme-Old Lyme High School will be the only school from Connecticut to represent the state at this notable event. The Hawaii Five-O 5K will help raise funds to defray the costs of sending these talented students to Hawaii to perform.
The race course, which is virtually the same course as the Caroline's Miracle Foundation 5K, will run through historic down town Old Lyme and is dead flat and very fast. t-shirts to the first 150 registered runners. You may run or walk the 5K. Awards for overall and age group winners.
The race will promptly start at 8:00 am. Race packet and number pick up will take place at the location of the start of the race (59 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT) on race day morning beginning at 6:45. You can also pick up your race packet and bib number the day before (July 29) from noon to 5:00 at the location of the start of the race. Plenty of parking will be available around the middle school and high school campuses. Strollers are allowed.
