Milford Moves for our Veterans 5K ~ Results

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The 2^nd Annual Milford Moves 5K honors our Veterans. This race will benefit local Veterans groups and is part of The Milford Bank’s “Milford Moves” Healthy Living Initiative. The 5K starts and finishes at the Gulf Beach Recreation Area. Runners and Walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome.

Registration is $25, increases to $30 on May 15 and $35 on race day.
Veterans and kids under 12 are $20, increases to $25 on May 15 and $30 on race day.

*This 5K is Race 2 of 3 in the Shoreline Sharks 5K Streaker Series.  All who finish The Hamden Hills 5K on 5/28, The Milford Moves 5K on 6/12 and the Savin Rock 5K on 7/17 will receive a FREE Custom Long Sleeve Tech Shirt!

• Entrants receive a Short Sleeve TECH race shirt. (Guaranteed to preregistered only)

• Exact timing using “transponder on the bib” for Net time and Gun time.

• Custom Pint Pilsners Awards for overall top 3 men and women as well as top 3 men and women in all 5-year age groups.

• Post-race food: Bagels and Bananas.

• Plenty of Porto-Lets and REAL BATHROOMS.

Day-Before Packet Pick-up

On Saturday, June 11 there will be an OPTIONAL early packet pick-up at The Milford Bank 295 Boston Post Rd. Milford, CT. 06460 from 10:00am-1:00pm. 

Race-Day Packet Pick-up

Race Day packet pick-up will be at the race start/finish from 6:30am-7:30am: Gulf Beach Recreation Area 550 Gulf St. Milford, CT. 06460. Make sure you arrive with PLENTY of time to park, get your packet with your bib and line up. The race will start at 8:00am promptly. THIS RACE MAY SELL OUT.

Directions

From the South: Take RT 95N to Exit 39A. Go Right off Exit and bare LEFT on CHERRY St. Follow Cherry about a mile to Gulf St. Take a LEFT on Gulf Street and follow to Gulf Beach.

From the North: Take 95S to Exit 39A. Exit will merge you onto RT 1. Bare left at the fork to Cherry St. Follow Cherry Street about a mile to Gulf St. Take a LEFT on Gulf St and follow to Gulf Beach.

Parking

Parking is allowed in ALL lots, including the residents only lots. Addition parking can be found on side streets within ¼ of a mile.
