The CJ Wolfpack Memorial Run is a 5K and mile fun run that honors both CJ Jones and mission works in Haiti. CJ was a wonderful young man who was large in both stature and in his love for both people and God. CJ was a greeter at the front door, the kids best buddy, the biggest cheerleader for your baptism, and a avid believer that exercise and God went hand in hand . He competed in many mud runs, 5Ks, and any exercise class he could take at Gold's Gym. His greatest gifts were his belief that no matter what challenges lied ahead God would guide him. Last year CJ took a two week mission trip to Romaina. There he saw a great need for children and the people of several of the towns. He prayed with many to seek God in all they did and needed. After that trip CJ vowed to go back each year and help those in need in various places around the world. Unfortunatley, CJ's life was cut short. It is our vision to help CJ continue to make a impact of those children and many more.
Crossroads Church, located in Douglasville, GA, began missionary work in Haiti in 2013. To date, Crossroads Church has provided a community water filtration system which includes a sanitation system, food programs, a monthly sponsorship program benefitting the children, along with building a school and church after acquiring 2.5 acres of land. Their future ministry goals include expanding the school, feeding programs, adding a trade school, plus a transitional home for orphans, and medical clinic. Missionary work was very important to CJ. To honor him and support the work Crossroads Church wants to provide Haiti, funds from the CJ’s Memorial Wolfpack Run, will go directly to this missionary work.

CJ’s Memorial Wolfpack 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run
Race Course: The 1 mile run is a flat course that will loop down the main road and back to the church for some great running times. The 5K course will begin in the church parking lot and head out turning right onto Steward’s Mill. The course will then take a left on Douglas Blvd and then a right turn onto Bright Star road. From there the runners will travel on a slight incline turning right on the Bright Star extension which is a 1.2 mile loop returning the runners back towards the church leveling off to a nice easy run back to the church parking lot.
Race Times: 8 am for the mile fun run 8:30 for the 5K.
Race Registration Closing: Registration will close on October 18,2016
There will be race day registration for a higher price
Please no dogs on the course or in the church. Strollers are allowed.
Awards: We be at the conclusion of the 5K inside of the church. We will also have the cafe open for fresh coffe, drinks, and food.
Mile fun run awards top 5 boys top 5 girls recieve medals
5K- Overall Male and Female runner receives dryfit shirt and medal.
Top 3 in each category both male and female receive medals.

Race Benefits: The race will benefit Crossroads church missions in Haiti. Currently the church has purchased land and built a small school for the children of Haiti. The children are in need of food, books, clothes and supplies. The race profits will fund the school and further development in this community.
Race Day Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup will start at 7:00am and finish by 7:45 inside the church lobby. There will be fresh coffee, drinks, and food available for purchase in the café of the church.
Race Day Registration: The cost will be $20 for the mile fun and $35 for the 5K on the day of the race. Those who register on race day may not get their shirts on that day, but may pick one up the following Friday.
Pre Race Registration: The 1 mile fun run will be $15 until October 18, then the price will increase to $20 dollars. The 5K will be $25 dollar's till October. 18 then the price will increase to $35 dollars.
Directions: The race will be held at Crossroads Church 5960 Stewart Parkway, Douglasville, Ga 30135. Take I-20 to the Douglasville exit #34. Make a left off the ramp crossing over the interstate. Go approximately 2 miles and turn by the Kroger’s onto Steward Parkway rd. Church is 400meters on the right. Park across the street from the church.
