Atlanta Medical Center's 5K Race for Survivors

Atlanta Medical Center will host its 3rd Annual 5K Race for Survivors Run/Walk on September 17, 2016 benefiting Sisters by Choice, a breast cancer support group organization. Atlanta Medical Center is an acute care hospital, with campuses in downtown Atlanta and East Point, GA, and provides Level 1 trauma, Advance Primary Stroke, bariatric surgery and Cancer Support Services. Atlanta Medical Center honors all cancer survivors, and encourages survivors, friends and family members to participate in the race and make it an annual event.

Event details and schedule

The race will begin at Atlanta Medical Center – South, and follows a scenic route, circling the hospital campus, winding down Norman Berry Drive to Willingham Drive and then returning to the hospital. Atlanta Medical Center – South is located at 1170 Cleveland Ave, East Point, GA  30344.

Packet pick-up, or pre-race, opens at 7:45 am, Thursday, September 15 2016 at Atlanta Medical Center - South, 1170 Cleveland Ave, East Point, GA  30344.

Race day registration opens at 7:45 am. Registration closes at 8:45 am. Race start time 9:00am

Fun Run: 9:45 am
