2016 Amana Colonies Back Road Half Marathon and 5k...

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

Join us on 08/06/2015 for the second annual Amanna Colonies Back Road Half Marathon and 5K. This one of a kind event will start and end at the award winning Millstream Brewery in Amana, Iowa. The routes take us on the back roads (largely gravel roads) of the Amana Colonies for a picturesque tour that offers breathtaking views that is sure to work up a thirst that only Millstream's Back Road Stout can quench.  There will be multiple water stops on course with Gatorade, water, and razz flavored Clif Shots

Finishers of the half marathon will all receive a finishers medal.  

Registration for this event includes a T-Shirt, refreshments during and after the run, a free pint of Back Road Stout (21+) and other miscelleanous prizes and goodies.

Event details and schedule

The half marathon and the 5K will start at 7:00am. Check in for both races begins at 6:00AM at Millstream Brewery.  

There will also be packet pickup on Friday night, August 5th, from 5:30-7:00pm at Millstream.  Picking up your packet early will make your race day expereince much smoother and we strongly recommend you come out Friday night.  We will also have race day registration on Friday night and Saturday morning.
