3rd Annual I Ran 4 a Sled Dog Event...

• 10K:- Run 6.2 Miles
• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 1 Mile:- Run 1 Mile

This event is a fundraiser for Northern Lights Sled Dog Rescue, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to them. NLSDR is a non-profit organization that helps huskies, malamutes and other northern breed dogs get the care they need before finding their furever home.

The event is scheduled for Saturday October 29th at McAllister Park in Lafayette, IN. And this year participants will have the option to run a 10K, 5K, or do a 1 Mile Walk.

There will also be live entertainment, food & beverages, vendors, a silent auction, and so much more. Don't miss out on the fun while helping the dogs at Northern Lights Sled Dog Rescue!

This is a dog friendly event, so please bring your fur-companion(s) along if you would like to run or walk with them! All dogs must be on leash at all times and you are responsible for cleaning up after your dog(s). Pet waste bags will be provided. Please be aware other dogs will be attending the event, so be mindful.

Schedule:

• On-site registration will begin at 8:00am
• Run/Walk will start at 9:30am

Make sure you bring a printed & signed copy of your waiver form, or get there early enough to fill one out at the event when you pick up your bib.

Make sure you wear clothing appropriate for the weather. The event is scheduled for the end of October so dress in layers, and be prepared for any type of weather. Wear comfortable running/walking shoes as well.
