Description

The Hendricks County Half Marathon is in its fifth year. HC Half Marathon is laid out on a very scenic and semi flat course. Starting in the town and heading out to rural Danville. You will get to see many of the reasons why the Town of Danville is such a special place.

You will never run such a beautiful course. See you there!

Location:             Physical Address, 1 East Main Street, Danville, IN 46122

Packet Pickup:  September 8th from 12pm-8pm and September 9th from 8am-6pm at the Danville Athletic Club. 49 N. Wayne Street far left gym door press the call box. We will also have packet pickup race day at the registration and timing table.

Day of Reg.:        Located next to the start finish line. It will start at 6:30am and wrap up by 7:15am depending on timer. Shirts are not guaranteed for day of registration or after August 19. 

Timing: Chips will be given out in your packet they will be attached to your bib. Timing results will be available online at www.danvilleindiana.org/HalfMarathon immediately following the race.

Course:  Miles will be marked, water stations will be around every mile marker with water or Gatorade and Porto-Lets will be located at every odd water station besides mile 13.

Pre Race:  Registration will be available the day of but shirts will not be guaranteed if registered after the Monday before the race. Runners will need to be in the starting corral by 7:15am and the race will start at 7:30am.

Post Race: Water and fruit will be available immediately at the end of the race. Medals will be awarded and pictures will be taken after crossing the finish line.

Age Divisions:   Half and 5k will have winner’s awards as follows:

                                Half Marathon Awards:

12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59, 60 & Up

                                Men’s 1st, 2nd, 3rd              Women’s 1st, 2nd, 3rd

5k Awards:

12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,55-59, 60 & Up
