Description

The 2016 Red Eye Relay Celebrates its 10th Anniversary. Come and run some Bloomington hills to join the celebration. The Red Eye Relay is an all-nighter 13.1, 26.2, 54.4 or 108.8 miles relay. It's a ridiculous challenge that brings teams of runners a step away from the average run, a race that adds sleep deprivation to the already difficult task of running multiple races in one night. What goes together better than running yourself silly and staying up all night? Well, maybe peanut butter and jelly, but what the heck? The fun starts on a Saturday evening at the Upland Brewing Co. Westside Bloomington Brew Pub (4060 Profile Parkway, Bloomington, IN). From there, goofballs get giddier as the course winds through some of the hilliest terrain that the midwest has to offer before a grand finale finish on Sunday morning back at the brewery.

What can you expect:

An awesome 10th anniversary finishers medal
Hills
Four distances- choose what fits your team: Half Marathon, Full Marathon, Double Marathon or Quadruple Marathon
Water at each Exchange Point
Beer at the finish for 21+ runners
Each Leg is timed, so you can compare your time with other teams
Party near the halfway point of the double and quadruple marathons
Party at Upland where the events starts and finishes - music and beer, and a fire if it's not too hot
