WSO Derby Day 5K Run/Walk

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

Please come join us May7th, 2016 "The First Saturday in May" for our 2nd Annual WSO Derby Day 5K Run/Walk at Old Kentucky Home Middle School in Bardstown, KY!  It will be Derby Day after all....no sense in letting the horses have all the fun!! 

• All proceeds go to the Wildcat Support Organization of OKHMS.  The WSO is an organized group of parents and OKHMS staff who's purpose is to support the students and teachers by increasing parental and community involvment, helping to coordinate fundraisers, and volunteering at the school and at school-related events.

• NELSON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS (NCSD): Register using this form OR register online at http://www.active.com/ for ONLY $10
• Pre-registration ends 5/5/2016 Same day registration fee $25 adults, $15 NCSD Students & packet pick up begins at 7AM
• T-shirts guaranteed day of event for pre-registered entrants. T-shirts by voucher if same day registration
• Water stop during the course & post-race fruit and goodies will be provided
• Awards given to the top three finishers for BOTH MALES & FEMALES in the following divisions: Elementary, Middle, & High School, Adults to age 29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+
• Course is paved and closed to traffic...run on the school grounds with many volunteers directing runners and walkers around the course.
• Race entry fee includes our event T-shirt and several chances to win prizes from our event sponsors!!

Event details and schedule

Race Day Specifics:

Parking will  be available at the Nelson County Board of Education and OKHMS.  Look for volunteers and signs for directions. 

Packet pick up & same day registration begins at 7AM to 7:45AM. 

Don't miss our "Call To The Post" just prior to race time at 8AM!! 

All Participants will be required to sign a waiver day of event and prior to start time.
