Awards:

Open Division: $500. First Places M/F overall - 15 to 70+ age + trophy

Kids Race: 6/9 age + Trophy M/F First Places

Youth Challenge - Ages 10/14 + trophy for 1st places M/F

Special Master Division ; 50+ - Trophy - 1st places

5 years age group: Awards for 1st Places - Male and Female

15/19 - 20/24 - 25/29
30-34 - 35/39 - 40/49 - 50/54
55/59 - 60/64 - 65/69 - 70+

Event details and schedule

2nd Annual Brazilian Day 5K. In East Somerville.
Race starts and ends at 114 Broadway.

Sunday September 25th come celebrate Brazil’s independence in this fun and competitive 5K Road Race. Family friendly! All ages welcomed. Kid’s run ages 6 to 9 with trophies for 1st places. Youth race ages 10/14 - trophy for 1st places M/F. 

Age Categories: 15/19, 20/24, 25/29, 30/34, 35/39, 40/44, 45/49, 50/54, 55/59, 60/64, 65/69, 70+. Finish Medals
Master 50+ (trophy for 1st places male and female)

Awards, trophies for winners of each category, Free t-shirts for all pre-registered runners. All runners will be professionally timed.

Top 5 (Male/Female) Overall

Kids Race: (Male and Female) Ages 6-9 1st Place

Youth Challenge: (Male and Female) Ages 10-14 1st Place

Master Trophy: Ages 50+

1st Place Overall (Male and Female) $500 each

Pre-registration: 5k – Adults $30.00, Kids Run – Children (6/9) $15.00.

Race day Registration: 7:30am to 9:45am at 114 Broadway, Adults $35.00, Children $15.00 Kids’ Race (ages 6-9)

Kids and Youth Run: 10:00am

5k Road Race (ages 15 and up) 10:00 AM
Awards 11:00 AM

All proceeds will benefit East Somerville Main Streets,Brazilian Community Heritage Foundation and Brazilian Athletic Association of Boston.
