The 2nd annual Perseverance 5K takes place on September 17, 2016 on a scenic, point-to-point course during the peak of autumn. It starts on the north end of the Indian Head Rail Trail and proceeds directly south, there are a few curves as the course follows the 1.55 mile stretch down. After you loop around, you finish the last 1.55 miles runnining into a crowd, cheering and motivating you to cross the finish line. The event also includes a post race health fair and post-race awards ceremony complete with music and refreshing snacks.
The Perseverance 5K will be one of the most popular races for the fall. There is a 200-participant limit, so register early to ensure a spot!!
