10th Annual Leatherneck 5k

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Run along the scenic Chesapeake Bay aboard NAS Patuxent River.  Participants without base access must pre-register for this event.  Food and Drinks will be provided after the run.  FINISHERS WILL RECEIVE A COMMEMORATIVE FINISHERS MEDAL. 

Registration for the Kids 1 Mile Run does not include a t-shirt but they will receive a Finishers Medal. T-Shirts can be purchased for $5 during registration.

Virtual Runners will have a t-shirt, race number, and finishers medal ship to them.

The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit set up to provide immediate financial support for injured and critically ill members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. We direct urgently needed resources to post 9-11 Marines and Sailors, as well as members of the Army, Air Force or Coast Guard who serve in support of Marine forces. The Semper Fi Fund provides relief for financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery as well as assistance for those with perpetuating needs.

Event details and schedule

Packet Pick-up will take place on Friday, May 20th from 11-1 at the Marine Aviation Detachment, Bldg 102 and starting at 0700 on Race Day at the start of the Race.  Day of Race registration will begin at 0700. 

1 Mile Kids run will start at 0845

5k will start at 0910

Please ensure that you have picture identification with you in order to access the military installation. 

This event will take place rain or shine.

Enter through Gate 1 at the corner of 235 and Pegg Rd. Follow Buse Rd (there will be signs) to Cedar Point Road. Make a left on Cedar Point Road and follow it all the way to the golf course.
