Holy Trinity HTSA 5K Race/Walk & Kids Fun Run

Please come join the Holy Trinity family for our 2nd HTSA sponsored Annual 5K Race & Kids’ Fun Run!  The purposes of this race are to raise funds to support student activities, teach our children that being active and fit while spending time with family and friends can be fun, and embrace community service by donating a portion of the proceeds to A Wider Circle, Inc.

This USATF Certified 5K course will be timed and is suitable for the competitive runner or the family that wants to walk for a powerful purpose.  This course was designed to set your personal best 5K for 2016.

This race will be limited to only the first 250 participants and then it will close so don’t hesitate to sign up!

The proceeds will benefit the children of Holy Trinity An Episcopal School. A donation will be made to the Holy Trinity Board of Trustees Annual Giving Fund and A Wider Circle, Inc.

Event details and schedule

The 5K run/walk will begin at 9:00 am.

The course is out-and-back starting and finishing on school grounds in the parking lot of Holy Trinity Episcopal Day School. Once leaving the start line you will hang a left down Daisy Lane until entering onto the WB&A trail to a turnaround point and back to the finish.

The 5K will be followed by the Kids’ Fun Run starting approximately 9:45 am around the perimeter of the school grounds for approx. ¾-mile as they will also start and finish at the same point as the 5K.

RACE PACKET INFORMATION:

Holy Trinity has partnered with Blue Cheetah Sports Timing to help us manage the event. We will be providing all participants with a race bib that will record your time and allow all participants to view their results directly after the race on-site. All participants that register prior to May 1st will be guaranteed to receive their selected size T-shirt during packet pick-up. All that register after May 1st cannot be guaranteed a shirt and will be subject to selecting from a limited quantity immediately following the race. Early registration is encouraged.

Packet Pick-up Information:  RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP will be from 7:00AM-8:15AM. Please plan to arrive early. There will be no early packet pick-up this year.

Medals & Awards:

All participants that register prior to May 1st will be guaranteed to receive a finisher’s medal upon completion of the designated course. Early registration is encouraged.

Awards ceremony will begin directly following the Kid’s Fun Run. Awards given for the 5K will be:

• 1st Overall Finisher Male & Female
• 1st Place Winner Male & Female per Age Group (14 and Under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+

Event Day Parking Details: Parking on school lot will be permitted until FULL or until Daisy Lane officially closes at 8:30 AM. Early arrival is encouraged.
