5k run / walk to raise awareness and funds around human trafficking – modern–day slavery affecting children right here in the Baltimore area and around the world. Last year’s race made a very real difference, raising more than $40,000.00 to provide much-needed services!
Proceeds from the race will once again be supporting the work of Araminta Freedom Initiative locally, with a portion gifted for work overseas through Justice Ventures International.

$30 through April 30
$35 thereafter/through race day (no guarantee of t-shirt)
1K Family Fun Run/Walk
$15 for participants 5 and older
FREE for kids under 5
Please Note: You can upgrade your cotton race shirt to a tech shirt for an additional $7.
Race t-shirts are guaranteed to all 5K & 1K participants registered by April 30 (availability and sizes cannot be guaranteed for those registering after the 30th).

Water will be available on the 5K course, and course marshals will direct racers at all turns.
5K Cash prizes are as follows:
1st Place: $200 (male & female)
2nd Place: $100 (male & female)
3rd Place: $50 (male & female)
Awards also given to the male & female winner in each age group as follows: 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+

The 5K course begins with a short loop in the International Circle business park before turning left to exit onto International Circle and following the road until McCormick Drive. Runners turn right onto McCormick Drive and head up the hill to the turn-around point, where they will turn around and head back to turn left onto International Circle. Runners finish by turning right off of International Circle to head directly to the start/finish line.
