Description

Betty ReeZ is a local gourmet Whoopie Pie business owned by Betty Zolla. As a Freeport resident, both of her sons went through the Freeport school system and Cross Country. She has served on the Running Boosters Committee since it was founded in 2008. Her eldest son has been the Assistant Coach for the Falcons and is an integral part of the Freeport running community.

Her gourmet desserts are a delectable treat for any occasion. Baked from the warmth of her Maine home, she uses only the finest ingredients to create a unique texture and taste. She offers a variety of flavors and sizes. To try for yourself go to Betty ReeZ website or look for them at local vendors/cafes.

$100 prize to the overall male and female 5K winners. Various size WhoopieZ will be awarded to the top two 5K finishers in the following age groups.
14 and under, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 and above.
Trophies awarded to the mile finishers in the following age groups.
6 and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14.
Every finisher gets a Betty ReeZ Whoopie Pie.

Entry Fees

Preregistration - 1 mile $8.00 and the 5K $12.00 before October 10th. There will be a $2.50 processing fee per runner added at check out
1 Mile Team of 10 registering at the same time - $5.00 plus $2.50 processing fee per runner added at check out
Day of race registration 8:00 - 8:45 a.m.- 1 mile $15.00 and 5K $20.00
T-shirts $11.00 - Shirts available for registrations received by September 30th
