Maine Walks with Haiti 5k Walk/Run 2016

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

Each year the southern Maine community gathers together in Portland for our annual 'Maine Walks with Haiti' event. Join us for a 5 K walk or run around Portland’s Back Cove! This family-friendly event raises money to support the efforts of Konbit Sante Cap-Haitien Health Partnership, a Maine-based organization that has been working since 2001 to improve health care in Portland’s Sister City. Runners will be timed and the first 250 paid registrants will receive a T-shirt. Registration for youths is $10 and adults is $15. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 males and the top 3 females.

This is a great opportunity for people of all ages to have fun while making a difference! Each year the southern Maine community gathers together in Portland for our annual 'Maine Walks with Haiti' event.  This year, our 7th Annual Maine Walks with Haiti+ 5 K Run will include, speakers, music, performances, Caribbean inspired food, Haitian art for sale and an opportunity to learn more about our work to build a healthier Haiti.
