Beer Run - Indeed Brewing Co - Part of the 2016 MN Brewery Running Series

It doesn't get more simple than this: walk / jog / run … drink beer ... and raise money for local non-profits! 

Part of Whirlygig 2016 @ Indeed Brewing! Join us at 10AM on Sunday, May 22nd at Indeed Brewing Co and enjoy a fun-run 5k throughout the surrounding neighborhood & parks! Walk, jog, run… no one cares! We’ve mapped out an awesome course that starts and ends at the brewery and our guides along the way will make sure you know where to go. Cross the finish line and celebrate! All participants receive a FREE craft brew from Indeed and get to take home a collectors pint glass or seasonal swag item. Bring the whole gang!

Our fun run will kick off a full day of WHIRLYGIG 2016 festivities, including live music, family art activities, unique beers on tap, and food trucks. The run starts at 10am, and the party doesn't stop until 8pm. Start your morning off right, then make a day of it!

Let's consider this an "un-race" as it goes against many principles of those fancy 5k races you may be familiar with. This is not timed and you will not get a medal when you finish. What you will get is an excuse to enjoy the great Minnesota outdoors, FREE beer and swag, and the wonderful feeling that you are supporting our local community. Some more important things to note:

• This will be an OPEN course, meaning roads will not be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations

• You must bring a valid ID or drivers license. You do not need to be 21 to enjoy the course, but you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. Please drink responsibly. (Registered, underage participants will receive a FREE non-alcoholic beverage)

• We run rain or shine! Please dress appropriately for the weather

• There will not be a bag check; please plan accordingly

Event details and schedule

The fun-run starts at 10AM sharp! Plan to arrive about 30 minutes prior to check-in to check out our partners, sponsors and pre-race activities. Don’t forget some extra $$$. In addition to your FREE beer and swag, there will be merchandise for sale, food trucks, and plenty more beer!

Indeed Brewing Co has a small parking lot and street parking is available nearby. We always encourage carpooling and safe, designated drivers. Is public transit an option for you? Check MetroTransit.org and see if there’s an accessbile route nearby.
