Enjoy a beautiful patriotic 5k in downtown Knob Noster during the Knob Noster Fair ON JUNE 11, 2016. The theme of the fair is 'Small Town, Big History" With this event you will learn a little history about Knob Noster.  This is also a few days before Flag Day.  The 5k Run/walk is not a timed event ( although human timers will keep an unofficial log of your time crossing the finish line).  We just ask that all participants cross within 1 1/2 hour time limit.  The 5k will repeat the coarse from 2014.  It is a nice flat route starting at the mainstage in downtown Knob Noster and proceeds East towards the Knob Noster cemetary. The route continues through the cemetary and will lead back to the 4 way stop in Knob.    The cemetary will be decorated with flags on all veterans headstones.  What a proud moment to be an American.  After the  5 k run/walk, the kids half mile and 100 yard dash will begin ( approximately at 9:30 ( arrive by 9 am to register and be there if the kids runs begin a tad early; children between 5-12 are free for these two events only)  Once the kids fun runs are over awards/recognitions will be distributed.  Every participant will recieve a special medal to remember this day with a informational flier describing the history of the town.   Please stay afterwards for Knob Noster Fair Kids games.  Early bird discounts  are from Feb 13-March 1st and prices will increase on March 2, 2016 

Packet pick up will be held at Co-Ed Creations Salon currently at 205 B North Adams, Knob Noster Mo ( and will be relocating in the spring to 200E Lucas, Knob Noster behind Sonic).  Packet pick up will take place from 10 am Friday June 10- 7 pm on June 10th.  Packets can also be picked up June 11 from 7-:7:30 am.  Race will begin PROMPTLY AT 8 AM!
