The 4th annual Race More for Macemore 5K Run/Walk is a chip timed race that takes place in downtown Yadkinville. This event honors Austin Macemore, who passed away at the age of 19 after a courageous race against cancer. On his inspirational legacy and passionate spirit to help others, Big A Ministries was founded. His ministry supports others battling serious health conditions, missions, the YMCA, athletics and scholarships for local college bound students.
Immediately following the race, stay and enjoy the 40th Annual Yadkin Valley Harvest Festival happening right next door. The Yadkin Arts Council family festival features live music on two stages, avenues of arts, crafts and festival food vendors, a farmer’s market, children’s entertainment areas and more with free admission.

Other than setup areas for the 40th Yadkin Valley Harvest Festival, there is ample parking in the immediate downtown area.

Waivers must be completed for all participants
