The LET IT GLOW FOR ALL TO KNOW 5K Run/Walk is benefitting the Belarussian Ministry

of Wakefield Central Baptist Church of Zebulon NC

June 25, 2016 – Pre Party Festivities begin at 7 PM! Kids Race at 8 and Main race begins ~ 8:30 PM – Wear your neon colors to get your GLOW on!

Race is a non-certified 5K through a park and nature trail at the Wendell Parks and Recreation campus located at 601 W Third Street Wendell NC 27591. The course will be looped 2 times. Water Stations will be at the beginning and midway around the loop. EMS personnel will be on-site. Pre-Race activities include a kids 1 mile run, vendors, food, , etc…

Parking will be available on-site.

Jesus said in Mathew 5: 14-16 that Christians are the light of the world. We are to be the city on the hill, our light is to shine before others and we should bring glory to our father in heaven! Wakefield Central Baptist Church’s Belarussian Ministry is planning a trip to Belarus in the spring of 2017. The purpose of the trip will be renovating buildings that were originally built in the 1950’s. The Belarussian Union of Christian Churches purchased a 6 acre site for a Christian Youth camp that they hope to have open year round. The site is 1 ½ hours from Mogilev in Bobryrisk. This trip will be hopefully the first of many to help the Belarussian people complete this project. We are created to GLOW in the dark and helping to bring Jesus’s name to the country of Belarus is one way we hope to glorify our Father! Do you have the LIGHT of Christ in you?!

Event details and schedule

Friday early packet pickup between 4:30 and 6pm

Saturday packet pickup and same day registration begins at 6:30pm

Kids one mile run begins at 8pm with a $5.00 fee day of race (ages 3-10)

Prerace activities (games and food vendors) begins at 6:30

Please bring ID for registration verification

Wear Neon colors

Main race will begin at 8:30pm
