18th Annual Run For Shelter 5K, 10K, & 1 Mile

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 1 Mile:- Run 1 Mile
• 10K:- Run 6.2 Miles

On Saturday, June 11 Coastal Women's Shelter is holding its 18th annual 5K, 10K, & 1 Mile Run or walk at Creekside Park in New Bern.  Proceeds will support domestic violence services in Craven, Jones, and Pamlico Counties. All three distances are newly USATF certified.

Early packet pick up will be June 10th from 6 to 8 pm at The Athlete's Foot in New Bern. Day of registration and packet pick-up will be from 7:00 to 7:45 am at Creekside Park. The race begins at 8:00 AM.  T-shirts will be handed out either at The Athlete's Foot early pick up or the day of the race and are included with the registration fees. 

Awards will be given (5 and 10K only) to the overall male and female winners, as well as to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place males and females in each age group.  For more information call 252-638-4509 or visit www.coastalwomensshelter.org.
