Hunger Run 5K Color Run

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

It's time for a COLOR RUN in Thomasville and here it is: May 21st, 2016. This is a non-competitve event that is family friendly.

Millions of low-income children in the United States rely on food support from the National School Lunch Program. But when school is not in session, children living in food-insecure households are at risk of going without the nutritious food they need. Even mild under-nutrition can affect behavior and school performance -- children are unable to learn when they're hungry and anxious about where their next meal will be coming from.

Enter: The BackPack Program

You can make a difference in a local child's life. All proceeds with go directly to the Community's In Schools Backpack program

Event details and schedule

Race starts at 8:30 AM

Stick around for post race door prizes and refreshments.

Parking will be in front of Thomasville High School and T.Austin Finch Auditorium.

Parking is available at Thomasville YMCA for those participants needing to leave prior to the event finishing.

You will be doused with colored powder throughout the entire race course.
