Description

The East Duplin High School Marching Band presents its first ever Zombie Fun Run!

Think you have what it takes to survive a Zombie Apocalypse? Then sign up for this epic event and show us what you’ve got!

This event will take place on the wastelands of East Duplin High School .

The kids fun run will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the adult run will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Late Registration will occur the day of the event, at EDHS, starting at 3 p.m.

Each runner will be given a belt with 3 flags on it; each flag represents a life. The goal is protect your lives from the Zombies who wish to steal them and infect you. If you can cross the finish line with at least one flag, then you have survived the Zombie Apocalypse. Crossing the finish line with no flags means you have been infected. Need more lives? Additional lives (flags) will be sold, for a minimal fee, on race day.

The course will be mostly on flat land with obstacles and a torrent of Zombies who wish to make you one of them. Each participant will navigate the course 3 times (1 time for the kids run). This is NOT a timed event and each runner will receive a certificate of achievement or defeat after completing the run.

Race Day 5/21/16!!

Kids Fun Run starts at 5:00 pm.  Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Waiver forms must be signed at time of registration by the child's parent/legal guardian.

Adult (12-100) Fun Run starts at 6:00 p.m.

Late/Race Day Registration begins at 3:00 p.m. on 5/21/16

Waiver forms must be signed by every participant! Participants under the age of 18 must have parental consent, and waiver must be signed by parent/legal guardian

T-shirts will be included with adult registrations (age 12-100) if you sign up before April 30, 2016. You can pick your t-shirt up the day of the event. ID is required.

T-shirts ARE NOT included with adult late registration, race day registration, or kids registration. No worries though, our awesomeT-shirts can be purchased the day of the event.

The EDHS Marching Panthers Zombie Fun Run is a rain or shine event. In the event of dangerous weather, the organizers retain the right to cancel the event. SORRY, there will be no make-up date, and because this is a fundraising event, NO REFUNDS will be given for any reason.

We encourage you to sign up as a team. Teams must consist of 4 or more people; a discount will be given for team participants.

No strollers or jogging strollers allowed on course.

This is a family event, please act accordingly. Event organizers reserve the right to remove you from the event for lewd behavior. Security will be on sight.

Absolutely no violence, smoking, drugs, alcohol, profanity, or weapons permitted (fake or real)!!!

Please be respectful of the EDHS campus, our organizers, volunteers, and your fellow runners. The EDHS Marching Panthers hopes to hold future events at this sight and with your help, we can make this possible.

The event will be kept alive with a Zombie Photo Booth (price to be determined)

Need help with your ZOMBIE face? ZOMBIE Face Painting will be provided by the art club for a small fee. Zombie Make-up starts at 3:00!! Get there early to ensure you get your BEST FACE ON!!

By registering for the Fun Run, you may win one of many great door prizes!!!!

Dress in your BEST Zombie Costume and participate in our ZOMBIE COSTUME CONTEST! (prizes will be given for individual Zombie Costume in adult and kids catagory, and team catagory)!!

We encourage you to sign up fast, as prices will increase as we get closer to the event!
