Thank you for your interest in joining Team Racing for Veterans (Team R4V) for the November 6, 2016 TCS New York City Marathon! Team R4V is a small, grass roots 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering wounded, ill and inured veterans through sport. In the last two years, Team R4V’s Patriot Racing Team has raised nearly $200,000 for our wounded veterans. We hope that you will join Team R4V for the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon to help us reach our goal of raising $25,000 at this race!

What are the benefits of joining Team R4V and paying the $100 TEAM fee?

• Entry into the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon (INDIVIDUAL ONLY);*
• 16-week training plan and training tips;
  
• Team R4V technical race shirt and TEAM swag;
• Personalized fundraising page and fundraising tips;
• Online community forum with coach and TEAMmates; and
• The heartfelt thanks of the injured Marines, Sailors, Airmen and Soldiers you will be supporting!

*NOTE: FUNDRAISER ONLY Team members will not receive entry to the TCS New York City Marathon, but will receive all the other benefits of joining Team R4V and paying the $100 TEAM Fee.

What are your responsibilities if you join R4V’s TCS New York City Marathon TEAM?

• Pay a $100 TEAM fee; and
• Raise a minimum of $2,500 (Individual) or $500 (Fundraiser Only) by the deadlines set forth below. 

NOTE: There are NO exceptions to the fundraising! If you do not meet your interim fundraising commitment of $1,000.00 by 7/1/16, Team R4V will charge your credit card for the remaining balance. If you do not meet your final fundraising commitment (Individual Only) of $2,500.00 by 9/9/16, Team R4V will charge your credit card for the remaining balance. If you fail to meet either the interim or final fundraising minimum, Team R4V has the right to revoke your entry to the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon.

About Your Personal Fundraising Page

• Upon registration with the TEAM, you will receive an email with instructions on how to create your personal donation web page;
• You may customize your page with a photo and text;
• The online contribution collection process is simple and secure (credit and debit cards accepted);
• Donors will receive an immediate email confirmation and tax receipt from the fundraising platform; and
• Donors will receive a thank you note from Team R4V.
