5K Race for Hunger – Sunset Run
Join us for an amazing sunset run through fields of native wildflowers and abundant wildlife! Our
USTAF certified course is situated in a wetland preserve, but is not your typical “trail run.” The
terrain is relatively flat, with a stone dust path.
Proceeds from the 5K Race for Hunger benefit the House of Concern, a very active, local food
pantry that services hundreds of families in need.
Pre-Registration - $20 per adult, and a non-perishable food item, $10 per child (12 years and
Race Day Registration – $25 per adult, $15 per child (12 years and under)

3rd Place Overall Male & Female: $25 value gift certificates or cash cards (TBD), and trophy
Awards given to first, second and third place male and female winners in each age category. (13
and under, 14-16, 17-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over. No duplicate awards.)
Masters Award for Overall Male & Female (50 years and over)

A food and beverage spread is free to all runners.
Directions
The Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve is located on Black Brook Road in Seneca Falls, New
York. To Google directions, type in “Corner of Black Brook Road and King Road, Seneca
Falls.”
From the Thruway (I-90)
Take Exit 41 (Waterloo) off of I-90. Turn right off the thruway ramp, and travel south on State
Route 414 for 0.25 of a mile. Turn left onto State Route 318 and travel 1 mile.
Turn right onto Black Brook Road and travel 1 mile. The entrance to the Seneca Meadows
Wetlands Preserve is on the right.
From the South
Travel along State Route 96 N until it intersects with State Routes 5 & 20 in Waterloo. Turn right
onto Routes 5 & 20 E and travel 1 mile. Turn left onto State Route 414 and travel 4 miles. Turn
right onto State Route 318 and travel 1 mile. Turn right onto Black Brook Road and travel 1 mile.
The entrance to the Seneca Meadows Wetlands Preserve is on the right.
