Run For The Trail 7k Run and 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Join us on Saturday, August 13, 2016 for the Run For The Trail 7K Run and 2 Mile Fun Walk/Run.  The first half of the 7K Run is on paved country roads with the second half on the Ghost Town Trail, a popular local rails-to-trails trail.  The 2 Mile Fun Walk/Run is on the trail, flat out and back featuring two scenic bridges. Nice community event. See 7k course records.

Unique railroad spikes for age group winners in five-year age groups in the 7K, with local artisan-made wood train engines for for top three male and female overall and first masters male and female.

Each 2 Mile Walk/Run finisher will receive a finisher's award.

Soft style T-shirts guaranteed to the first 150 runners and walkers who pre-register by August 6, 2016.  Every effort is made to have shirts available on race day but there is no guarantee.  Youth sizes available this year.  Register early to avoid disappoibtment!

Special Family rate for both races of $11.00 per person, minimum of three related family members Must register by August 6, 2016.

Special $11.00 rate also offered to high school cross country teams if pre registered.

Race day registration and packet pick-up opens at 4:00 PM.  Race starts at 6:00 PM.
