Mid-Summer Madness 5K Run/Walk

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Silence of Mary Home invites you, your family and friends to participate in the Mid-Summer Madness 5K Run & Fun Walk (Formerly the Silence of Mary 5K). Runners and walkers will enjoy a measured course on the grounds of the new Bishop McDevitt High School (east of Harrisburg, a mile north of Wal*Mart). The race starts and ends at the Football Stadium. This is the 5th year for the event. More details can be found on our website.

Refreshments and Door Prizes follow the race. $75 award to top Male and Female runners, as well as 5 year Age Bracket awards, and maddest head gear prize of $25.

100% of your $25 Registration Fee will go to the Silence of Mary Home, who helps the neediest of the needy in the Allison Hill section of Harrisburg, where the Homes are located. This event has raised over $20,000 in the previous 4 years.

Event details and schedule

On Site Registration starts at 8 AM on Saturday, August 6, Race starts at 9 AM sharp, RAIN or SHINE. Course is mostly flat, with one hill toward the end. Free parking on site. Each pre-registerd runner/walker will receive a free technical T-Shirt and goodie bag.
