Description
The 5th annual Royal 5K takes place on a point-to-point course with rolling hills that wind through the beautiful West Side of town. It starts and ends at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds. The race will be officialy timed by Runners High. The race includes post-race refreshments. A special prize is awarded to the 'Best Royal Appearance' so break out those tu-tus, pixie wings and tiaras. Participants also choose a Disney Prince or Princess team to join. Each 'team' represents a CMN Child. The child with the most particpants will have a donation made in their honor to CMN. Awards are presented to the top 3 overall male/female, and the top 3 in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Awards also presented to the top 3 finishers with a stroller (age groups do not apply to the stroller division). A Car Show featuring kids activities, food, music, and a variety of vendors begins at 10am. Visit our facebook page - Clearfield County Fairqueens for a Cause - for information and updates! Event details and schedule
Registration and packet pick-up begins at 7:15am day of the race. The race begins at 8:30am. Parking is available on-site. The course map can be found on the Clearfield County Fair Queens for a Cause facebook event page.
T-shirts are guaranteed to those who register by May 20th. Following that date, shirts are on a while supplies last basis. Pre-registration (with shirt) is $20. Pre-registration without a shirt (must mark the 'No T-shirt' option on the registration form.) is $10. Registration fee the day of the race is $25.
The course will be marked with arrows on the roadway. Most intersections will have traffic control but please be aware of traffic.
