The 9th Annual Bobby Doyle Summer Classic 5 Mile / 3K Walk is proud to be part of the USATF-New England Grand Prix Series of Championship Races.
Course - USATF certified course through scenic Narragansett RI with panoramic ocean view. Course map and description are posted on event website (http://www.bobbydoyleraces.com/index.html).
Medals - All finishers in five-mile race receive a USATF-NE Championship medal.
Technical T-shirts - All registered runners/walkers receive a technical T-shirt.
Race raffle - Winners will be pre-drawn, gift cards/merchandise will be awarded after race.
Post Race refreshments - on the grounds of the Pier Middle School.
Packet pick-up and race day registration begins at 7:30 am Sunday Aug. 14th at Pier Middle School.
Race day entry fee is $34 ($25 for high school students). Make checks payable to: "The Bobby Doyle Foundation, Inc.".

Prize Funds: $9,000 total cash purse (individual & teams).
INDIVIDUAL (male & female) - Prize money winners MUST be members of USATF or their Home Federation.
Open - 1st $500, 2nd $300, 3rd $200, 4th $100, 5th-10th gift cards.
Masters (40-49) - 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100, 4th-5th gift cards.
Seniors (50-59) - 1st $200, 2nd $100, 3rd gift card.
Veterans (60-69) - 1st $100, 2nd gift card.
Grand Veterans (70+) 1st $50, 2nd gift card.
COURSE RECORD BONUS Additional $150 to race winners (male & female) who break the existing course record. Men: Moussab Hadout 23:51 (2015). Women: Laura Nagel 26:40 (2015)
USATF NEW ENGLAND TEAM COMPETITION (male & female) - Scoring team members must be members of the USATF-New England Association.
Open - 1st $500, 2nd $400, 3rd $300, 4th $200 (Scoring based on top five finishers per team).
Masters (40+) - 1st $300, 2nd $200 (Scoring based on top five male finishers / top three female finishers per team).
Seniors (50+) - 1st $200 (Scoring based on top five male finishers / top three female finishers per team).
Veterans (60+) - 1st $150 (Scoring based on top three finishers per team).
Grand Veterans (70+) - 1st $100 (Scoring based on top three finishers per team).
SPECIAL HIGH SCHOOL AWARDS
3K WALK
3k Walkers will follow the initial 1.86 mile loop of the 5 Mile Course, coming back to finish at the Pier Middle School.
Top male and female 3k walkers will receive gift cards.
Both the 5-mile race and 3k walk begin Sunday Aug. 14th at 9:00 am from the Pier Middle School, 235 S Pier Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882
