The Super Hero Mission Haiti 5K run/walk is a low-key challenge course through the woods around Langley Pond Park. Up and down small hills and shallow terrains on a sand path will enhance your workout, while still allowing you to keep up with your running and walking pace. This scenic path moves along the lake through the woods, circling back to the park area to finish the race. Each participant is invited to wear a super hero costume or clothing. There will be an award for the overall best costume. All proceeds for this race will be donated to the Langley United Methodist Church Haiti Mission trip to help the children of Haiti.
Registration, check-in and packet pick-up will begin at 8:00 a.m. The race will start at 9:00 a.m. Langley Pond Park is located on Langley Dam Road off of Highway 1 (Jefferson Davis Highway) between Aiken and Augusta. Plenty of parking will be available. Check in with your waiver and ID.
