The Chattanooga Track Club will hold the 49th Annual Chattanooga Chase 8k and 1-mile road race, presented by Fast Break Athletics and Chattanooga Whiskey, on Memorial Day, Monday May 30th 2016. The 8k race will start at 8:00am and the 1-mile race will start at 9:45am.

The Chattanooga Chase is the oldest active competitive road race in the area. This year’s event will feature an 8k and 1-mile race through the scenic North Shore neighborhoods. The 8k is known for its challenging hills and breathtaking scenery. Rock Creek will be awarding a PREMIUM to the first male and female to reach the water station atop Minnekahda Avenue, the race’s most challenging climb. The 1-mile race features a fairly flat, fast course through the neighborhood adjacent to Chattanooga Golf and Country Club. The first 50 finishers of each distance will receive a special edition race t-shirt!

The event will be followed by a post-race picnic at Riverview Park with refreshments and lawn games, so bring your picnic blanket or camp chair! Good Dog will be grilling up some dogs for all to enjoy!

ONLINE REGISTRATION: Will be open until 11:59 pm on Saturday, May 28^th.   You may also register in person on race morning beginning at 6:30 am.  Note: We cannot guarantee correct t-shirt size for walk up registration. See pricing and schedule details below.

PARKING
There is LIMITED on-street parking throughout the North Shore. Carpooling STRONGLY recommended.

Good Dog will be grilling dogs and we'll have some other great picnic treats!  Family & friends are welcome to attend & enjoy.
