South Padre Island Marathon

• Half Marathon:- Run 13.1 Miles

The South Padre Marathon has a race for everyone! Full marathon, half marathon and half marathon relay, all beginning in Port Isabel and crossing the causeway before finishing at Clayton's, the largest beach bar in Texas!

Down south, at the end of the world's longest barrier island, you'll find South Padre Island, home to the most scenic beaches in Texas. The blue waters of the Laguna Madre rest upon its western shore while the soft sand beaches on the east slide into the gentle surf of the Gulf of Mexico. In between, though only ½ mile wide, lies home to abundant wildlife, nightlife, shopping, first class dining, great family entertainment and of course, the most scenic beaches in all of Texas.

Start Time: 6:30am, Saturday 11/12
Location: corner of Manautou and HWY 100, Port Isabel TX
How do I get to the Start Line?
Shuttles will run from South Padre to the start line in Port Isabel from 4:30am-5:45am (shuttles are for registered runners ONLY)
North Island Shuttle Parking:
– Convention Center and Andy Bowie Park
South Island Shuttle Parking:
– Schlitterbahn (shuttles will run from the finish line to Schlitterbahn till 3pm on race day)
Bag Check:
– Drop Off: South Longoria St. in Port Isabel, 4:30am-6am
– Pick Up: Claytons Beach Bar (finish line), 8am-2pm
Special Note: You may only use bags provided at packet pick-up for Bag Check…place sticker with your bib # on the front of the bag
Spectator Parking:
– Parking at the SPI Convention Center and Andy Bowie Park will be CLOSED from 7am-10am on race day, please arrive early if you wish to park near the finish line
(NOTE: There Will Be NO PARKING at Claytons on race day)
– Shuttles will be running from Schlitterbahn to the finish line during the hours of 8am-2pm
