2016 Turtle Trot 5K

Help injured and sick turtles and other wildlife and support our nature education activities at Long Branch Nature Center by participating in the Turtle Trot 5K on Sunday, May 15, 2016. This is a family-friendly, chip-timed run on a certified course on the Four Mile Run and Washington and Old Dominion Trails in Arlington, VA. Prizes are awarded for top finishers and all finishers receive the Turtle Trot logo tote bag. We’ll also have live turtles from the nature center, activities for kids, and the “real” turtle race after the run..

Event details and schedule

Check-in begins at 9 a.m. and the race starts at 10:00 a.m. at Bluemont Park, 601 N. Manchester St. There is limited parking at Bluemont Park but additional parking is available on N. Manchester St.; detailed parking information will be provided to registered participants. Plan to arrive a little early to ensure you have time to get from your parking spot to the check-in tent. The run goes rain or shine.
