SMMS Get Smart 5K

• 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Get Smart 5K is a certified course!  It is fast and flat so be prepared to set a personal record.  It is a great race for all skill levels.  Walkers and strollers are welcome!

Event details and schedule

PREREGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK UP: Online registration through www.Active.com until May 4, 2016. On-site registration will be on Friday, May 6, 2016, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Smart’s Mill Middle School in Leesburg. Pre-registrants may pick up their race packets at that time or prior to the race on race day. Race day registration will be held at the school from 6:45 am to 7:45 am.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:  On May 7, 2016, registration and packet picup will be available from 6:45 am until 7:45 am.  The 5K race will start promptly at 8:00 am.  A wam up session will be offered before start time.  At 8:15 am, a FREE 1/4 mile Fun Run will be offered in the parking area for our mini Mavericks.  At the finish area, a buffet will be set up for your refreshment.  There will be live music, and prize giveaways.  Race winners, overall & by age category, will be awarded after everyone has completed the race course.
