The Pink & Gard Brain Tumor 5K

Welcome to the Active.com page for The Pink & Gard Brain Tumor 5K.

Join us on July 9, 2016 at Elver Park in Madison, WI at 9:00 AM for our event.  This 5K run/walk is family friendly and for all abilities.  

Last year we raised nearly $20,000 for The National Brain Tumor Society.

Race Day Events will be setting and certifying an official 5K course!

Please sign up to participate in The Pink & Gard Brain Tumor 5K and help the Pink and Gard families reach their goal of supporting Glioblastoma research so other families don’t have to experience similar heartache and loss. 

Doug and Glen both  passed away from Glioblastoma. Their families are hosting this race in their memory and to raise money for the Brain Tumor Society; all proceeds will go towards Glioblastoma research in hopes of one day discovering the cause and a cure for this terrible disease.

With the goal of raising money to support Glioblastoma research, we have chosen not to have official timing at this event.

Children 10 and under are free

Important race information: Check in is from 7:30-8:45 at the main shelter.  No dogs are allowed in Elver Park.  We suggest wearaing bug spray.  If you register after June 20, 2016 we are not able to guarantee a t-shirt.
