Description

The Valparaiso Half Marathon is an opportunity for the United Way of Porter County to raise money for youth self-esteem programs.

The Half Marathon includes post-race festival with music and food from local restaurants and vendors and long sleeve moisture wicking shirts for runners pre-registered by October 1st.

The cost for the race varies as the year goes on. The earlier you register, the better it is for you!

Event registration is 7 to 8:15 A.M. at United Way of Porter County.

Race shirts cannot be guaranteed for runners registered after October 1st.

Course Info

The course is flat and fast with very few turns and intersections. There will be water stations on the course and energy gels at halfway party. Also, there will be computerized chip timing by T&H Timing, split times at every mile.
