2016 Best Fest 5K Run/Walk:

Come join us for the Best Fest annual 5k run/walk and 1 mile walk. This event will once again draw runners and walkers from all across the Midwest. This race is for competitive and non-competitive participants. Seasoned runners and short distance walkers are all welcome to participate and enjoy the Portage area in a unique way. The race course highlights our beautiful city for the flat 5k run/walk.

All race proceeds go to benefit St. Mary's Immaculate Conception parish.

ST. MARY's of THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION SCHOOL,  307 W COOK STREET, PORTAGE, WI 53701   

EVENTS 5K RUN/WALK Start: 10:00 AM. 1 MILKE WALK: 10:15 AM 

AGE DIVISIONS: MALE/FEMALE (5K RUN) 7 & under, 8-10, 11-13, 14-16, 17-20, 21-25, 26-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60 & over   

RESULTS AND AWARDS Awards and gift certificates to the top three overall male and female finishers of the 5K run. 1st place awards will be presented in each age group listed above, male and female, for the 5K Run. Overall awards to the top 3 male and female finishers of the 5K walk.    

PACKET PICK UP Day before registration and packet pick up: Friday May 20th from 5PM - 8PM at St. Mary's School, 315 W Cook St, Portage, WI 53901. 

Race day registration and packet pick-up: 7:30 AM until time of race at St. Mary's school, 315 W Cook St, Portage, WI 53901. 

Fees & Race Information  Register before May 1st, 2016 for best prices. All pre-registered participant's receive high quality tech t-shirt and runner goodie bag. Day before and race day registration cannot guarentee t-shirt sizes. 

Day of race there will be fruit, bagels, water, Gatorade, pre/post race music andlocal massage therapists. For information email [email protected].
