The 1K is started just before the 2K and 5K to keep the kids in a safe environment. It has an adult in lead with a sweeper" to follow.The 1K is for 8 years old and under only, and is completely free. The 2K is for age 9 - 12 and the 5K is open to all - the cost is $15.00 per entry.The 5K has a nice hill in the beginning and one in the middle, but the rest of the course is flat and is one of the most beautiful settings you will ever run through.
