Fundraiser for Domesti-PUPS and part of the Nebraska Sports Council LiveWell Challenge!
First 100 dogs get a bag full of toys and goodies. T-shirts for the humans.
Register now. Dogs must be vaccinated and show proof of vaccination on the day of the race. Proof of vaccination not required for registration.
Online registration only. Packet pick up day of race.
Race is not timed.
Part of every registration is going directly to Domesti-PUPS, a local 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Lincoln, Nebraska. They provide therapy dogs, service dogs for persons with disabilities, and trained rescue dogs through their adoptables program. They have satellite locations for pet therapy in Omaha, and St. Joseph, MO. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for persons with special needs through the assistance of animals, and to promote awareness through education. domesti-pups.org
1 mile is a loop around Mahoney Park.
5k is a loop around Mahoney park and an out and back section on the David Murdock Trail.
Mahoney Park is located in Northeast Lincoln, Nebraska at 70th and Fremont street.
Park entry off 70th street.
Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. We please ask that strollers and walkers line up at the back of the pack to avoid entangling runners & dogs and to allow for a smoother start.
Leashes of less than 6' are required at all times while at the event.
Dogs must be licensed if living in city limits and vaccinations must be current.
