Kennedy Cancer Survivors Day and 5K Run...

This year, June 5th 2016 will mark our 6th Annual Cancer Survivors Day Celebration and 2nd Annual 5K Run & Walk. Runners will enjoy this USATF Certified 5K course which runs through Washington Lake Park and is also a perfect setting for a family outing. Survivors and families can participate in several events including the Survivor Walk Lap, the survivor signature art project to later be displayed in the Cancer Center and children’s games and activities.
Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Kennedy Cancer Center’s Patient Assistance Fund. This fund provides
critical assistance for cancer patients experiencing nonmedical financial challenges due to cancer treatments such
as mortgage or rent payments, utilities, food, wellness activities, or transportation.
