Description
Carolina Family Practice & Sports Medicine serves as the presenting sponsor for the 5th Annual Bella Rose Strides for Babies. This event is held in honor of Bella Rose Diaz who was lost to SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) in May of 2011. A family-friendly event with a bounce house, deejay, and silent auction, all proceeds that are collected go to the CJ Foundation for SIDS. We offer prizes for top finishers in age group categories as well as runner with stroller and runner with dog.
Course Info
The course is on the grounds of the WakeMed Soccer park and offers a challenge to both the novice and seasoned runner.
PREVIOUS RESULTS
In 2015, Nick Polk won the race in 17:14.
The top women's finisher was Caroline Diorio with a time of 22:52.
Casey Buddenbaum holds the course record for the men at 16:34
Heidi Ertl's 19:25 is the course record for women,
both marks were set in 2014.
