Race Street Run

• Race Street 4 Mile Run:- Run 4 Miles
• Race Street 15K Run:- Run 9.3 Miles

Both races are an out-and-back course starting and ending in the old Mauch Chunk Historic District of Jim Thorpe.  4-mile is approximately evenly divided between road and trail, mostly gentle uphill out and gentle downhill back.  Hill in Mile 2.  15-K miles 1 and 9 are road, remainder trail and gravel.  Gentle uphill out and downhill back.  Hills at mile 2 and 4.  Water stops at 2-mile turnaround for the 4-mile and at miles 2, 4, 5.5, and 7.5 for the 15K.  Water mister, weather permitting, in mile 5 and 6 of 15K.  Road portion is closed to traffic.  Traffic control by Borough Police.  See entry form for awards.
