Girls on the Run Philadelphia invites you to join the 3rd annual Girls on the Run Philadelphia Spring 5K! Join us and over 300 of our proram participants as they cross the finish line.  Register to run as a community runner, a running buddy, or a sparkle runner! Community runners are welcom to run for fun or for a PR, prizes wll be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age category.  You may also register as a running buddy and run with one of our program participants, encouraging and cheering her on along the way.  Or run as a sparkle runner and support GOTR Philly even further by fundraising for program scholarships.  However you choose to participate, the GOTR Spring 5K is guaranteed to be an event to remember!

Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade.  We teach life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games.  The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K running event.  The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.
