Our race location has changed! We will begin at the Flint Hills Rodeo Grounds just north of hwy 50 in Strong City, Ks. The race will follow an out-and back course primarily on the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve's Two Section Trail. This is a moderate to difficult trail with one very challenging hill on the 10k route and prairie terrain throughout so expect dirt, gravel, and some small creek crossings. Depending on weather, it may be muddy and wet, or hot and dry, so plan accordingly. Water stations and first aid will be on site at the 5k and 10k turnaround points.
Day-of-race registration and packet pickup from 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM on June 25th at the Flint Hills Rodeo Grounds on hwy 50 in Strong City, KS. As you enter from hwy 50, take your first right and circle around to the back of the rodeo field to the covered dance floor. Parking is available in the grassy field on the north and east sides of the drive.
