Four on the 4th presented by Fleet Feet Sports Roanoke is a 4-Mile Run and Walk in Roanoke, Virginia that takes place on July 4th at 8am and benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia.  The race starts and finishes at the Wachovia Plaza in Downtown Roanoke.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Now through July 1, 2016: $30; registration is available online only.

Saturday, July 2: $40; register at Fleet Feet Sports Roanoke from 10am to 6pm

Race Day (Monday, July 4): $40; register on-site at the Wells Fargo Plaza from 6:30am to 7:30am

There are no refunds for the 2016 Four on the 4th.

PACKET PICK-UP & REGISTRATION

Packet pick-up and registration will be held at Fleet Feet Sports Roanoke on Saturday, July 2 from 10am to 6pm.  Fleet Feet Sports Roanoke is located at:

All registered participants will receive a Four on the 4th Beach Towel.

TEAM COMPETITION

New this year is the 4-Person TEAM Competition!  Participants can sign-up/create 4-person teams.  The fastest combined time for the 4 team members will be crowned champions.  Categories include:

All-Female Team
All-Male Team
Co-Ed Team which must be made up of 2 males & 2 females

There will be one winner per category.  Team uniforms/outfits are strongly encouraged!

COURSE DETAILS

The 4-mile race will be a "lollipop" loop, starting and finishing in the same place.  The route will take participants down Salem Avenue, over 5th Street Bridge, onto Shenendoah, and then participants will make their way up Jefferson to Patton and onto Gainsboro for a loop around Lick Run Greenway before coming back to Jefferson and back in.  The route will start on Salem and end on Market Street.

RACE DAY DETAILS

The Four on the 4th will start at 8am, with race day registration and packet pick-up from 6:30am to 7:30am at the Wells Fargo Plaza Downtown.

Race start is 8am sharp.

Race day timing will be done by Mountain Junkies, LLC.

AWARDS

Awards will be given to the Top 3 Males and Top 3 Females, First Male Master and First Female Master (40 and up), First Male Grand Master and First Female Grand Master (50 and up), and age group awards for top three males and females 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.

Additionally, awards will be given to the winning teams for the 4-Person Team Competition including All-Female, All-Male and Co-Ed Teams.
