 - Summerfest 5k Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Run Monroe Missionary Baptist Church, Monroe, MI Sat, July 23rd Registration 5K Now-July 15th $20 1 Mile 11&Up $10 5K, July 16th-23rd $25 Race day Registration $25 8:00am-8:45am No T-Shirt guaranteed. 1mile begins at 9:00am 5k begins at 9:30am Fee includes: Race, T-shirt, Refreshments after, Also entered into door prizes. The first part of the 5k course will be on grass/cross country style for approx. 1100 meters. The remainder 3900 meters is flat on the road The Start/Finish on Mortar creek Rd. at the same spot. We will have age group awards following the events. Award for overall Male and Female winner of 5k - $100 each Award for Masters Male and Female winner of 5k - $75 each Proceeds of race will go to: New Beginnings Mercy House Ida, MI Oaks of Righteousness Christian Church Monroe, MI Bethany School in Hyderabad, India Everyone is welcome to stay around after the race for the annual Monroe Missionary Baptist Church Summerfest. There will be a Car & Motorcycle show, Food, Kid's inflatables, Volleyball & Softball tournaments and Baptismal service.
