2016 Backpacks For Fellow Students 5K Race For A Reason:
Please join us for our 3rd Annual 5K. All ages are welcome. Medals, Music, Prizes, Raffles and Food. Event t-shirts and backpacks will be available to all pre-registered participants. All proceeds will support East End elementary school students and our mission of helping them achieving academic excellence.
Register before August 1, 2016 and be eligible to win (2) VIP Tickets to the 8/25 Jimmy Buffett Concert at Jones Beach. Includes Premier Seating and Pre-Show Lounge
Course Info
The race runs through scenic Westhampton Beach Village, along Dune Road and over 2 bridges. Flat, fast a few rolling hills. Medals awarded to the top three Female and Male in their age group, and first 3 Female and Male overall.

About Our Organization
Backpacks For Fellow Students (BFFS), a 501(c)(3), created by Westhampton Beach High School Student Ariana DeMattei provides East End elementary school students a brand new backpack filled with all their required school supplies to start off the school year. The goal is to create a level playing field no matter what the socioeconomic status is, and maximize a child’s opportunity for educational success. The ultimate goal is to create lifelong learners and ultimately contributing members of the community. Since its inception in 2012 BFFS has made available over 1000 backpacks to community students.
