Highwood Superhero 5K Run/Walk...

• HIghwood Superhero 5K Run/Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Highwood Superhero 5K Run/Walk takes place during the Great Highwood Pumpkin Fest.  Come dressed as a superhero like Superman, Ant-Man, Batman, Spiderman or whoever your superhero is!  Your superhero may be your mom, dad or a friend who went above and beyond the call of duty.  ALL proceeds go to benefit Make-A-Wish Illinois.  Our goal during the event is to raise enough funds to help grant 100 WISHES! 

The course starts in fromt of the famous Bent Fork Bakery in downtown Highwood and guides you through the beautiful historic Fort Sheridan and then back again.  You will run by thousands of carved jack-o-lanterns which will be lit later that evening in a goal to break the world record for most lit jack-o-lanterns in one place!  A sight not to be missed.
