Benefitting Panua Partners in Hope, which educates and empowers orphaned and vulnerable youth and children in Kenya. Help young people on the other side of the world have a future. Celebrate Panua with food, live music and post-race awards.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION/PACKET PICK-UP
Opens at 6:00 a.m. and located in front of Orlando Metro Gymnastics Baldwin Park.

START
The start is located by the lakefront in downtown Baldwin Park. “Pace per mile” signs are provided to assist you with your specific starting group.  For safety and courtesy to other participants please line up according to your anticipated mile time.                            

CHIP SCORING
The “Chip Time Scoring” is the timing device used to score 5k participants.  In order to receive an accurate time, please confirm your bib is: Clearly visible on the FRONT of the torso, unaltered or modified and not covered.                                        

FINISH
The finish is located by the lakefront downtown (loop route).

COURSE
Our race begins in downtown Baldwin Park and will wind around beautiful Lake Baldwin’s paved trail, then finish in front of the fountain by the lake downtown. Bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, and dogs will be prohibited from the race course. The use of headphones is discouraged.

STROLLER RESTRICTIONS
Stroller/jogger operators start behind designated stroller signage.Stroller/jogger operators may walk/jog no faster than 15 minutes per mile, a safe operating Speed.  If your speed goes faster than 15 minutes per mile pace, you may be disqualified. Stroller/jogger operators must yield the right of way to runners.  Stroller/Joggers can tip Easily and cannot turn quickly.  Please do not weave through packs of runners.

WALKER FRIENDY
Walkers are encouraged to participate in the Panua 5k.  Municipalities require that roadways are clear of participants and opened as soon as the race is complete.  That is why a maximum pace of 16 minutes per mile is set.  If the pace isn’t maintained, race officials will ask you to move to the sidewalk to re-open the roadways.

RESULTS
Results will be available at the race.  For same day online results go to Panua 5K. Runners and walkers age 7 & above who wear the designated chip are included in the race results.

AWARDS
The top 3 overall male and top 3 overall female, top male and female master, the Top 3 male and female in each age group and overall male and female race walker will receive awards.  Team awards to top 5 times in first place team.

KIDS RUN
Registration is available on race day at the race site only. Distances will range from 100 yards to 400 children will be placed in age yards and Registration is available on race day at appropriate groups.  Ribbons to all finishers.
