Race for Special Olympics

• 5K Run/Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 1 Mile Run/Walk:- Run 1 Mile

 - Running Lab is partnering with Special Olympics Michigan for a 5K and 1 Mile Walk/run on June 11, 2016 at Legacy Center in Brighton. This race is non-profit for the Special Olympics. The funds will stay 100% local and be used in Area 27- Livingston County.

The mission of Special Olympics Michigan is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The Special Olympics Michigan has an ongoing need is raising funds for rental fees at practice facilities, uniforms and to attend games/tournaments. Their current big need is that the bus is no longer road worthy.  As most of the athletes do not drive and many live on their own, they do not have a means to transport themselves to games and tournaments.  The 20 passenger bus has been used for almost 20 years now and are currently seeking funds to help us replace it.
